And so, you know, in order to preserve uh
society, I think you know, there needs to be labor protections.
And I think you're interpreting labor protections to mean preservation of outdated jobs or or you know the some sort of like um work program for people who are operating, you know, manual typewriters or something like that, which is not obs not at all the case, but it's that, you know, there needs to be a protection
for someone so that their you know job is not completely undercut in ways that they have no bargaining uh power.

On that same note, I was gonna push back a little bit on the sort of inevitability uh argument around tech because it's used in so many different sectors.
We say we hear it in crypto all the time.
It's like you're not gonna stop crypto.
This is the future of finance.
And I think you know, reasonable people might argue that maybe it's not, and just because tech executives say it's the future does not make it so.
Same thing with metaverse, for example, that was the inevitable future for a little bit.
Um so I think that first of all, when you hear someone say it's inevitable, that's not necessarily the case.
But I also think that it's not this sort of binary decision between
This technology is inevitable.
We can't stop it.
Get out of the way.
There can be no restrictions or guardrails or anything like that.
