And, you know, the opposite side of that, which is we need to stop it, we need to ban it, we need to outlaw it, we need to prevent anyone from ever thinking about it, right?
Like there's there's two different worlds here.
And it's not that anyone who thinks that AI is uh not necessarily inevitable wants to ban it, right?
It's that they sort of see a
path in which we could navigate this because we as humans have agency and we live in a society where we make decisions about things like this all the time.
I mean we make decisions about, you know, I can't go and make a nuclear weapon in my backyard.

Right.
Right.
And that's that's sort of a a good example I think of the idea that, you know, just because something is possible does not mean it happens all the time.
you know, we should be treating AI like we treat nuclear weapons.
I am saying that there are plenty of systems in this world where we do treat technology that way, where we do have guardrails around technology.
And, you know, the fact that it's AI does not necessarily preclude that type of a thing.
