So if you believe that, think about exercise right now.
What form of movement would actually help me?
Maybe you need a slow walk around your neighborhood.
You just need to move and kind of like this walking meditation.
Maybe you need to go punch something.
I mean, maybe you have to get all your frustration out or like you just got to jump or dance or stretch.
And from that, think of what is the smallest and simplest version of that?
Oftentimes it's a matter of time.
So some people like, no, no matter what the form of exercise I want to do, I know I want to do 30 minutes of it or 60 minutes of it.
Again, the habits are subjective and exercise is no different.
Like 30 minutes could be someone's like,
everest and 30 minutes could be another person's like that's like my baseline day okay so it's all subjective okay so with that you think of with the ideal what is my smallest and simplest if 30 minutes is the ideal i know even on a day where my period starts for example i could go on a 10 minute walk i could do that or i could walk if you don't want to do time limits you can say i can walk up and down the block and
And with that, I'm just going to own the fact that this is going to be really scary because we all want the ideal.
And as a recovering perfectionist myself, that's why I teach about progress because I want the ideal too.
Like I want the overnight success.
