Yeah, I actually phoned up with a point around Stevie Clark.

So I was in the show a few weeks ago when we were talking about the Scotland side and Stevie Clark.

At that point, it was up in the air if he was going to get an extension before he went on the plane to the World Cup.

And now obviously he's got his extension.

So I'm just phoning up to see.

I find that a bit baffling because the last two competitions that we've been at, the Euros, the last two Euros that we've been at, we've got a point from each of those campaigns, not got out of the group, finished bottom of the group.

What if we go to America in a few weeks time and we again finish bottom of the group?

So that'd be three successive campaigns where we've really, really struggled and finished bottom.

Now I know Stevie Clark's got us qualified and that's great and I will always be indebted to him for that because it's brilliant what he's done.

but Scotland have got a right good team there with some right good players so we should be qualifying as a minimum we should be qualifying so for me the fact that he's not been able to get out of these groups and I'm based on the fact that he might not still get out of the group in America so if he doesn't then does that really merit him getting a new contract in my opinion well we cannot prejudge what happens in the United States because the games have yet to be played but we can

Now, I know, I think it's been said in the show quite a few times, not only by the pundits that are on, but also by some Rangers fans as well, saying that he's not been a successful Rangers captain because he's not won many trophies.
