And I wanted to particularly thank Commissioner Davis for being there.
We accepted it together.
And also, we had two of our top county administrators.
We had Tara Williams, head of human services,
Of course, Andrea Posada, who heads up elderly and veterans services also, and she's phenomenal and is just a treasure when it comes to what we do at the area agency.
And I just feel it's so important that we have been a contributor there for 30 years.
We accepted a 30-year award, and it's very exciting.
And when you look at all the municipalities that are doing it too,
So I'm so glad that we were able to be part of that and also
of the tremendous effort that we did with them, giving them funding during COVID for feeding and being able to provide meals directly to seniors in their homes.
And also, I am really kind of proud because Barrett County is just, and our administrator, Charlotte Mather-Taylor, is unbelievable.
And we are recognized in this state as having the best area agency.
of any of the area agencies around the state of Florida.
