And I'm criticized for talking about it.

And we have blue states with prosecutors who refuse to prosecute many of these people because of their death threats, because of my own political views.

A lot of the death threats I get are from transgender individuals.

And one of the two people yesterday was transgender who was sentenced.

And I believe, Pierce, this is sort of historic.

I don't know of another member of Congress that had two people sentenced on the same day.

And it's egregious.

I don't get a security detail.

I don't get like secret servers or anything like that.

I have to pay for security services out of the office or even when I'm personally going to the grocery store.

I have to tell you, Pierce, I have a wig.

just to go to the grocery stores that I'm not recognized to buy groceries so that my children aren't harmed when I'm around.

I tend to really attract aggressive behavior when my kids are with me.

And we've had to modify our entire lifestyle.

And one of the things I'm looking forward to, I'm going to miss Congress, but I will not miss the death threats that are on my life, what I've had to deal with, how I've had to change my entire lifestyle from where I live to how I go out when I'm with my children.

And I'm looking forward to hopefully some of that simmering down.

But probably if I keep shitposting, it's probably going to never go away.
