Well, absolutely not.
What's actually very popular still is American sovereignty.
And the issue here in the clash is between U.S.
sovereignty and globalism.
Because the United States has never ratified this treaty, what Mamdani is suggesting falsely is that America can simply manufacture warrants at the behest of the ICC.
and that somehow we need to be part of a treaty that the US Senate has never ratified.
And what Mamdani is suggesting is that we participate in this unelected bureaucracy and give over more of our sovereignty that has always been a bipartisan issue here that even the Clinton administration
refused to submit it to the Senate to ratify back in the early 2000s.
This is a very deeply unpopular issue.
And regardless of where anyone stands on Israel, the question of America retaining its sovereignty really is at the heart of this.
And Mamdani is simply wrong.
No, it's not about sovereignty violations because Palestine is not a recognized state.
The ICC recognized them for purposes of being able to ratify the ICC and claim jurisdiction, but even that is debated within the ICC.
So Israel, if it believes under their own law that Netanyahu personally is responsible, needs to be held accountable for war crimes, let them prosecute him.

be part and parcel to a criminal court that we don't recognize, nor should we, because we don't want our U.S.
American soldiers or our presidents to have to submit to that type of jurisdiction that has never been a part of the U.S.
Constitution.
It's never been ratified by the U.S.
