He wants $350 billion as soon as possible and a total of $1.5 trillion.

So this is actually a much larger price tag, but this is overall for our military capabilities to remain the largest military power in the world.

so we can have peace through strength.

I'm not one of the members who is propping up the war that is going on in Iran.

I also can trust our military, our military leaders, and our president to do the right thing over there.

But I certainly am of the mind that I want this to come to an end.

I did not vote for new wars, more wars, never ending wars.

And I want this resolved as quickly as possible.

I was proud of what happened in Venezuela or even earlier last year in Iran with Operation Midnight Hammer.

And I was hoping we could just solve things with quick in and out combative measures like that rather than weeks and months of actual war.

Right now we are coming up on the vote for the National Defense Authorization Act.

And this is something that may not even have the votes to pass.

We did have a procedural vote on the rule that allowed the NDAA and other bills to come to the floor last night.

We offered amendments to the NDAA.

And there are still members who have issues.

I have an issue with Section 219.
