The very controversial issue of merging or what is being perceived as merging our military with Israel's military.

This is something that I believe the Senate has already removed from the NDAA.

So it's not a vote that we should even be taking here in the House.

And now leadership is promising that this Section 219 will be removed when the bill is conferenced between the House and the Senate before it is sent to the president.

I believe that this is a war.

I believe that it has been categorised as a war.

I was also under the impression that it's now a new war.

So there is a 60-day grace period.

And so I'm under the impression that the president has classified this as a new war.

And he has another 60 days before that grace period ends.

So certainly there is a conflict.

I don't believe that it is everyday war.

I do believe that there are negotiations that are happening.

But I would like to see an ultimate end.

I know that our people have done tremendous jobs at working with Iran and Israel to bring this

to an end.

Even Vice President J.D.

Vance has been out talking about the negotiations that he was involved in, expressing his frustrations.

I don't disagree.
