A a thing that I thought about with rejection is the very modern concept of ghosting.
I suppose maybe it's not so modern a concept if you think about someone just never calling you back or never writing you back.
But you know, it's happened in the past, but I think now it's very ubiquitous in that it's very easy to end a relationship by just terminating contact.
