Well, I wasn't gonna leave with that, but since you did bring it up, yeah, I I don't know that I've ever mentioned this on the podcast.

I'm a 9-11 survivor.

I was in high school down the street from the World Trade Center when it happened.

Obviously, one of the worst and most terrifying days of my life, but also one of the days that most shaped my understanding of the world.

I wasn't a huge patriot before then, but watching American follower foreign policy uh turned blood.

Bloodthirsty in response to a thing that felt like it happened to my community, uh, and wasn't in and a lot of uh horrible injustices committed in our name really did shape the way I look at the world.
