And so sometimes I've seen trustees get a little bit antagonistic or perhaps purposefully trying to pull the loose thread of a jersey out.
And rightly so.
They're fully within their rights.
But there is this delicate balance of the commercial sponsors
commercialness, right?
Because that feeds into sustainability.
So you're a very good picture that you've painted there for us.
Jolene, we're running out of time and I want to give you the opportunity to share your wisdom with the future generation of trustees and principal officers.
So in a quick two-minute summary, off the top of your head, independence is needed in our industry.
In fact, it's required by the legislation
And I just want to close this out with a comment that the FSEA made at a recent industry conference.
And that is around, Zarina Camerdeen actually said that the time of trustees lining their own pockets is over.
So this independence, no matter who appoints you or puts you in that seat, this independent ethical behavior is something that is going to be spotlighted.
