First degree sexual abuse was the technical sexual abuse.
For younger audiences, a lot of this story has kind of been lost to the sands of time, but you really cannot overemphasize how famous Tupac was at the time he was killed.
Like he was only twenty-five, which is so shocking to me.
I mean, I biggie was only twenty four.
But I mean Tupac also was a
pretty good actor.
Like he'd been in a number of movies, including starring opposite Janet Jackson in Poetic Justice.
And the other thing about Tupac, he was this collection of paradoxes.
You know, his parents had both been
Black Panthers, but he sort of didn't really know his dad.
His mom at times had been a crack addict.
He also was very much a drama kid.
He went to performing art school, and I think that really informed a lot of how I view his character.
My perception, at least, is that he maybe got in over his head with the performance of being a gangster because he himself was never really a drug dealer or that involved in street life.
