I went to a school where I was one of the only white kids at the school and got a bit of a hard time for that.
So a bit of bullying and stuff ensued.
I was a pretty happy kid.

Happy, keen for mischief, you know, active as, like me and my sister were always outside playing rugby and league in the backyard.
And yeah, my sort of earliest memories are of me and my sister just playing in the backyard, passing a rugby ball, passing both sides, kicking until Chas got better than me at rugby.
And then, yeah, I wasn't so keen to play in the backyard then.
She was like steamrolling me.
And yeah, I think for me...
there's a few phases I can sort of remember as a young fella growing up.
Like I say, pretty, pretty happy kid.

I don't know what the word would be, probably like mourning a little bit, like noticing, you know, when rugby on the weekends, for example, other kids, you know, my friend's dad's on the sideline every time if we were going travelling, we'd be going with my friend's dads and that sort of stuff.
