And I remember just kind of always being quite envious of that.

But talking myself through it too, just sort of that's what it is.

And I've got my mum and I've got my nana and papa.

I attach myself hard to my papa.

Beautiful man that he was.

He was really active with me and my sister.

So rugby trainings, athletics trainings, all that sort of stuff.

Yeah, he'd moved to Australia.

So he went over there.

He's been over there for as long as I can remember now.

I would talk to him on the phone regularly.

I wouldn't know exactly, but once every six months, something like that.

And even then it was with the old lady listening on the other line, you know, the old landlines where two phones in the house.

Party lines.

Yeah, and then he might have come here once in a blue moon.

And then we went to Australia a couple of times because my granddad had flown us over there and my uncle and auntie took us to Australia.

So I saw him a little bit like maybe between, I don't remember the early, early stuff, but maybe between eight and nine,

13 maybe once a year might have seen him and interestingly for me like I wanted a dad like real bad it's it's when I reflect on it now it's real crazy because I just think if you break it down logically it's like some of the stuff just doesn't make sense and you know to the point where I've done some work with a coach recently around

you know, why am I doing this?

Like, why is this so baked into me?
