And then
You know, when my daughter was born, that just amplified that.
Like I was like, not only that was a life changer in itself, having my daughter, but that just amplified that need for it to work.
And I'd had a failed business and now I had something to, you know, there was so much more reason for it to work.
Like it had to work.
It wasn't just me that was going to be impacted if I didn't make it work.
Were you happy at those stages?
I think I saw a path to happiness.
If I was successful, yeah.
In the day-to-day, I would say no, not at all.
But there was like a light at the tunnel.
I don't know how long the tunnel was, but it was like, if I can make this work, I could be happy.
I could be successful.
I could have these things and all of that sort of stuff.
But again...
the wrong reasons you know what i mean i was it was the material things like i wanted to make you some money like i wanted to have the the boat or the or the truck or the whatever you know it wasn't trying to chase a version of myself that i was proud of or could be happy with it was i was trying to chase these material things so that i could be the man
Yeah.
I honestly, so I got to listen to your episode with Susan Hassel, like not that long ago.
And it was real interesting and it made me reflect on, I was driving down River Road and she talked about being at a principal's conference, I think, and the question was asked to them about when they went from being a boy to being a man.
