There's a bit of it where he's just like, I don't really get why this is so important.

And that is refreshing for drivers as well.

He's a guy that really, to that point...

Just sees it as very black and white, cut and dry.

You know, here's what I think, here's what you need to be doing.

And the mindset has shifted.

I mean, if you look at the undoing of Christian Horner, a lot of the root of that was the commercial desire of the Austrian side of Red Bull to really control that part of the business.

And, you know, you mentioned Peter Bayer earlier saying,

he does that for the junior team and it was actually i think it was the austrian grand prix last year wasn't it where oliver mintzlaff from the red bull um the red bull wider company sat down with horner and said you need to give up some of the commercial stuff and i think horner made a joke about well you can go sign mike crack if you want that kind of role but it that that was a really fascinating clash of the two mindsets and the shifting landscape of that you're taking one of the old school you know team bosses that did everything and you're saying actually no we don't need you to do everything we we're happy to do the commercial side

So yeah, Wolf and Briatore really stand on their own here, Briatore historically, but also he came in, didn't he, and just cut that team to pieces where there was a lot of waste and a lot of things they needed, you know, gutted the Renault engine project as well.

That's why he was brought in and the reason he was is because he's so effective at doing that.

So I think those two guys to me stand out and I think a lot of those other people, you're right, they probably don't even touch the commercial side and don't need to.

Yeah, when you come back to a sport purely because of your standing in that regard, it's hard to argue against it.

I mean, when you think of Briatore, you think of a dealmaker, don't you?

So I think that puts him ahead of anyone else.

But he's working with De Ruyten as well, isn't he?

And you wonder how much the commercial side of things he's looking after away from them.

Yeah, exactly.

But I know what you mean.

He's of that other class.
