I mean uh it's as you said, it's all over the place, different opinions within the same administration, probably different opinions from with the president himself on what the objective should be.
And I think the bottom line is there aren't really good options.
If he escalates and he does have some options, Iran will probably retaliate in kind.
If he tries to walk away, it also is bad in that you know that we'll still have a worse status quo than existed before the war.
And you know, the best option, it's not a great option, is to make a deal like the one he did for the MOU, but that was politically costly for him as well and it's perceived as being in Ron's favor.
So, you know, he was unhappy with that as well.
So he really doesn't have a good option out of this.
And he's really paying the price for a decision that that he, you know, made himself uh against the advice of some of his, you know, closest advisors.
So, you know, he's really paying the price for this.
He is the one who withdrew from a working nuclear deal in twenty eighteen.
He's also the one that kinda took unprecedented military action against the program in twenty twenty five.
And, you know, fairly successfully.
But there was really no
Compelling reason to go to war in twenty twenty six over the nuclear program.
No, I absolutely do not see this going six months.
And frankly, I've been shocked that it's gone this long.
I just have continually thought at some point that
you know, the fairly obvious reality of the situation would catch up and that Trump would would basically, you know, seek way out at any cost.
Where we go from here and what I'm watching, I mean, I think there's a few interesting things to watch.
I mean, one is the relative restraint so far Iran has shown in response to blockade.
