So yeah, if all of them are working against Republican prospects in 2026, that's going to be a huge hurdle to try to overcome.
But here's the thing about politics.
Sometimes you have to lose in politics in order to win.
Now, you only win by winning.
Losing is not a good business model.
Losing comes with enormous, very real consequences.
I'm not one who would say we need to lose the midterms and we need to lose the presidential so that we will root out all these bad actors on the right and so that we... No, no, no, the stakes are too high.
You have to try to win.
But while you're trying to win, you are sometimes going to lose, and it is just a fact of the cycle of politics that sometimes losing does have a purifying effect on political movement.
