But we can certainly tackle that of helping them not feel sad and not feel lonely simply by giving them the sunshine of our love.

And that does all these things wonderful, of course, for our relationship, but also for the executive functions.

And thirdly, really to help them have the energy to go off and develop the lives for themselves that they want to have as much as we want them to have.

It's so easy to want to put on a cape and jump in and fix things for our kids to make the problem be better.

And and it's not that we never do that, but it's so much better if kids can, with our help, fix the problems for themselves.

Yeah.

Wonderful to be here.

Well, just just that.

Um that there are natural tendencies that we all fall into as loving parents.

And and so much of the book is about kind of how we talk to ourselves, but also how we talk to kids.

Um, because in the in the moment uh we sometimes default to to ways of communication that aren't quite what they want it to be.

And so what do you say in some ways is designed to give people, if not full-on scripts,

certainly models and and language that they can use because ultimately, you know, as loving parents, people just simply want to be effective with their kids.

And so a lot of this is about language that that is simply effective in advancing, you know, happy relationships, a happy home with our kids.

But as the title suggests, that positions kids in ways to have healthy motivation and stress tolerance.

Using the word resilience because it's been, you know, I think beaten to death by a million other books that are great.
