You have no comeback if something goes wrong.
You know, if your battery explodes, they don't very much, by the way.
But if it does, if your engine falls out, if your gearbox spills its cogs all over the road, and you've bought the car from a garage, you've got comeback.
Yes, there are fly-by-night garages out there, and you do need to be careful about that, too.
But if you've bought from a big, proper main dealer, someone who's affiliated with Symy, you've got comeback.
You can bring that car back on a flatbed trailer if need be and say, hey, you sold me this.
It's a pile of garbage.
Fix it or give me my money back.
They have to.
With a private seller, you don't get any of that.
Now, what you do get, of course, is a lower price.
So it's a question of price versus peace of mind.
Personally, I would always go for peace of mind because I'm just a naturally cautious person.
Yeah, that's actually way more likely than any issue with the battery or the electric motor because batteries and electric motors are functionally very simple things really.
what you're much more likely to have a problem with is a touchscreen breaking itself.
Yes.
Or just not working properly or being slow or sluggish.
Now, the good news is because it's a computer and it's a laptop on wheels, the software can be updated, can be upgraded, can be improved, and it should have been during the course of its life already if it's been serviced properly.
And again, this is going back to the age-old adage of if it doesn't have a service history, walk away and find one that does.
