It's hovering just under, I think, 50-55% of the market at the moment.
It can be, but there's a few catches here.
First of all, you are, as I say, getting locked into this process, this rolling process of buying a new car at the end of your PCP.
And that's fine if that's what you want to do.
A lot of people do.
A lot of people like to change their car every two or three years, and that's fine.
That's what keeps the motor industry going, guys.
But...
There are some terms and conditions, particularly applying to the mileage and the condition of the car.
And that's where PCP is still a bit like a lease.
When that car comes back to the dealer after three years, you have to be below the agreed mileage, which will be in the fine print, and it isn't always necessarily highlighted.
And the car has to be in an agreed condition.
Now, obviously, a certain amount of wear and tear is taken as given.
That's fine.
But if it's all scratched and dented, or if you've changed the colour, or if you've ripped out the back seat because you want to put in a dog bed, I've known people to do this, you're going to get stung for charges at the end of the PCP.
And they can be very expensive.
It'll all be explained in the PCP agreement.
The limits are reasonably generous.
No, it's a specified limit.
It's not a fair usage thing.
