I look forward to the day hopefully when the Rays even take further steps and and put him in their hall
Um because I would think from the I mean, he really was part of the rise to the race.
You know, the year that he debuted is the year Tampa Bay went to its first postseason, first winning season, first World Series, et cetera.
Um and he really helped establish that winning tradition.
And when you think of race baseball, I would still think that he's probably the player who first and foremost comes to mind.
I I would think it will be.
Um, you know, I think there's certainly some players, you know, I think of you know, you you brought up Chandler Simpson in this interview.
Chandler has a really good understanding not only of um you know of baseball history, but I think of Ray's history too and um, you know, I think there are several guys in the clubhouse for whom it is extremely meaningful.
Uh Fairamount got to meet him last year when he was at the ballpark, so um
You know, and and I think uh Evan wants to, you know, hopefully in the future is, you know, he he gets to spend a little more family time now with his three kids and his wife, um, you know, what w his baseball future looks like and I I wouldn't be s shocked if sometime down the road he's helping out this franchise in some further capacity and has an impact hopefully on some of the the young future raise really good teams.
