And as may I recall, though, I don't think we've yet had the discussion with the transportation corridors of Catoctin Circle and Market that some of the potential suggestions were potentially not doable, not in any reasonable time frame anyway, and certainly not without great expense.

The current state of infrastructure without dramatic change can only support so much, regardless of what certain individuals might want to see.

The question is, what can we actually provide and sustain in a realistic manner to keep things moving?

And with the Historic District, we had an email from a resident who was wondering about the BAR's ability to change setbacks.

But now you've described how in and around the Historic District, you're actually allowing

buildings right to the property line with maybe 5 or 10 feet setback.

So can you sort of address that question and that concern as to what the Planning Commission can or can't do and how it might be beneficial?

If we get back to floodplain real quick, can you refresh my memory the areas that we were actually considering for floodplain alteration in the first place?

I seem to recall backwater areas off of

the creek there past the bridge at King Street Station and, of course, across the street on King Street.

But where were we actually considering allowing the floodplain alterations?

So when we're discussing building height then, specifically in the historic district, it seems to me that in protecting the historic district, that is an area we'd want to be very sensitive to in terms of building heights and other, or potentially other parts of town.

We wouldn't have to be quite as critical, but I do believe it's important to protect the downtown area in terms of mass and scale if we want to preserve our historic district.

Yeah, I'm just trying to understand what the situation with the development of Clubhouse Drive is now with the Kuhn project going on there, what the expectation is when that project is finished, what we expect to see along Clubhouse Drive before we get involved, what the actual plan is now.

I need one more clarification.

We have a discussion about the flashing beacons, and it was recommended that we don't do them because the feeling was you just don't put up flashing beacons at every intersection.
