And so although I stayed in private equity, I made a commitment to myself kind of back there in the kind of early nineties that
I did think there was a a much better way of doing business which still generated good returns for our investors, but actually grew businesses and grew businesses that, you know, hopefully we could be proud of and and the employees and stakeholders could be proud of as well.
So uh
We had our joke about private equity earlier on, but I I do actually think there's ways of of of investors and the corporate financiers and even lawyers being able to do things that uh have purpose as as well as being good commercial enterprises.
Well I really appreciate that, Brian.
I'm uh I'm tempted to kind of keep going with that uh that thought for the next five or ten minutes 'cause it's uh it's making us uh us look good.
But I'm gonna switch slightly and um if that's okay, thank you.
But talk about how you think
tech and software and similar solutions
can kinda help drive engagement you know in a company with its employees and and ultimately kind of help a company
to be more purposeful and to drive more purpose.
Surely you're not talking about actual people within the business, employees in the business really being able to drive
The company's culture and values and those kind of things, are you, Brian?
I'm sure that that surely surely that just comes
That just comes from the top because, you know, somebody made a marketing statement, doesn't it?
Yeah.
That that's the and comment again, isn't it?
It's a kind of win win where you can actually have both.
