I mean, I think a really good example is if we look at a very different
banking market, but we look at the disruption that's happened in the UK, maybe over the last 10, 15 years, where you've had smaller neobanks who've entered, they've really played and identified where there's existing friction and customer dissatisfaction within the banking system and built value propositions, which cater to that on strong banking principles, but borrow innovation experience design from adjacent industries.
and they've really disrupted the market.
And they're growing profitably as well.
So I think I agree with you, size does not necessarily
dictate success.
Yeah, I think, I mean, the first thing is you can't fight the quarterly clock.
There's still going to be shareholder commitments.
You're still going to have to push and hit earnings targets, et cetera.
But I think one thing that definitely should happen is how do leaders within banks need to think about how do you start to ring fence
a discrete pool of capital and talent, which is going to be measured very differently in terms of what they're working on in a different time horizon.
So it kind of survives that annual budget prioritization and kind of works on a very different ROI time horizon.
And then I think you take that capital and you work on stuff which actually drives benefits on both clocks.
So both near term and
slightly longer term future.
And while it may not seem kind of super disruptive, but there's foundational things which a majority of banks still are not near to.
So things like implementing a modern core and a modern banking architecture.
clean APIs, rich data and analytics, driving AI fluency throughout the organization, embedding a culture of kind of product and service innovation.
I think all of these things are things which you invest in today, you see near-term and long-term benefits, and then gives you the platform, Jim, to start thinking about some of the predictions we've made in terms of
where you can kind of speculate or be a little bit bolder without it being necessarily redundant or throw away.
