So I made people log a food on the onboarding.
And I remember we calculated like the uplift in people that would come back on day three and therefore the flow through effect of whether they would hit their weight goal.
And it was sort of like that single change meant that a million more people would hit their weight goal over the next three years.

And so that was, you know, we were able to have a lot more impact inside MyFitnessPal as employees than we did with our own thing that wasn't working in the way it needed to.

Every personal trainer was keen to join and get new business, but it was hard to convince people to pay, what were we charging?

Um, and we just couldn't explain the value of it.
And it was valuable when people had it, but it was just health.
Health is a difficult place in terms of the way, how you, what people buy in healthcare is often not what works put it that way.
And so sometimes you just, you, you, you are buying something that you want to just work instantaneously.
And anyone who's tried to change the health knows that it's a very long process.
And so we just, we just couldn't, we just, we just failed to connect with people.
