So that's the change in people's minds is that they go, I don't know if I can be successful to I know I can be successful.
And it changes, it puts the control, it flips it from being like, oh, something external has to happen for me to be a success to I can actually drive this myself.
And lots of people have gone before me and done it and they were no different to me.
So it's the founder to founder experience and then the expectation reset.
And it's very hard to get an expectation reset in life because it basically involves kind of ditching everything you know before and just putting yourself in a new environment.
And that's what accelerator programs are, just 12 weeks in a completely new environment with a completely new group of people.
And again, to use a cliche, you're the average of the five people you spend the most time with.
For an accelerator, that means you're the average of the mentors and the founders in the accelerator.
And that's a great average to readjust yourself to.
I'm going to assume that those are 100 companies that are seeking to be a venture capital business.
Of which there are hundreds of thousands of businesses.
There's no distinction between being a venture capital business or being a milk bar on the corner of the street.
They're all businesses.
And if you want to run the milk bar, that's no better or worse than the founder who wants to go raise venture capital and chase that dream.
I think there can sometimes be this sort of hierarchical thing where venture capital businesses are better or they're not.
They're just a whole, you called it earlier.
It's like, they just accelerate everything.
They intensify everything and they shorten the timelines for everything.
And that can be good or it can be bad.
It just depends going all the way back.
