Strangely, he saw nothing from Kenny, and nothing from himself going back weeks and even months.
It was as though neither of them had existed as contacts in her phone.
But surely she had to have pictures still.'
Amanda had been mad about taking pictures during their trip and in general.
Do you mind if I look through your photos?
He asked earnestly.
Amanda paused, thinking over her photos.
She was a single woman after all, and the chances of an errant lewd photo being somewhere in her picture roll wasn't to be counted out.
But she couldn't continue letting her friend labor under whatever strange delusion seemed to have overcome him.
And so she nodded, her permission.
Tim wasted no time.
Flipping through the photos of their trip, he was utterly puzzled.
In every photo, including those he remembered specifically being group photos, it was only the three of them.
Amanda, CJ, and himself.
In image after image, only the three of them appeared, which, once the initial shock had worn down a little, was then compounded when Tim noticed that the photos of what was a larger group trip to a retreat with staff were suddenly barren of all but the three of them.
None of this made any sense.
Amanda looked clearly concerned and increasingly frightened as Tim's confusion and frustration deepened.
