There is a framework we love that explains fashion.
It's called the quadrants.
You see, America's four top cities are explained by two different variables.
Comfort and fashionability.
And those two variables make four quadrants.
As in, New York City is fashionable but uncomfortable.
High heels, they look great, but they're not fun to wear.
San Francisco is comfortable but uncomfortable.
Unfashionable.
All bird shoes, not a vibe.
Washington, D.C.
is uncomfortable and unfashionable.
That's the worst quadrant of all.
The only one who likes wearing Brooks Brothers is a Brooks Brothers lobbyist.
But Los Angeles, Los Angeles, you are comfortable and fashionable.
The best of both worlds.
