So for me, the first fundamental thing is goals are important in terms of visualizing, but the very, very practical manifestation of a goal is how long could this take and do I have the ability –
to see it through and have I managed the risk that I'm going to have to pull the money out early.
And I think a lot of people, myself included, will make that mistake from time to time and we'll look back and we'll go, gosh, I should have stayed the course.
I think that there's plenty of things.
That's the one thing that comes to my mind.
I don't know.
What about you guys?
Yeah, definitely.
And I think, you know,
And adjacent to that is if you believe in a company and you believe in the long-term prospects and you invest in a company, I think there's a lot of, you know, much more credentialed investors out there than me that will say something like,
Don't get tied too heavily to your initial decision if you feel like the leaders of that company or the direction of that company has changed or they're not living up to what you thought they were going to do, whether it's international expansion or whatever.
And, you know, I think whether it's...
focusing on how your life has changed and not restricting yourself from making the right decision or not getting caught up in the fact that maybe that wasn't the best decision to invest in that company because they haven't lived up to it.
And all this other spectrum in the middle, it's like don't be too hard on yourself if things do change and try and really reflect on
what your situation is now and go, well, I'm not going to necessarily be driven by a decision I made two years ago now that the life or world or whatever has dramatically changed and that's okay.
No, and the technology just gets better and better, right?
So on ETFs and stocks and on apps, the switching costs are getting to the point where they're not material, right?
There might be tax implications that you've got to figure out, which means you don't want to be changing your mind.
all the time but um you know i think that for this idea that you know let's let's focus on some community data that that i think is a little bit relevant here it's like we see a lot kind of two different behaviors one is
We talked about ESG before.
