I think that is a big bulk of it is just understanding who's available, um, and their strengths and, um, you know, knowing that there isn't like a picture perfect way to get through every baseball game right now, but he's still finding ways to put people in positions to succeed.

And, um, so that's, that's so impressive on that end.

And, uh,

But I think the flip side of that too is the trust that he puts into us as position players.

I think through times that we haven't played well or times that we have, he always gives us the benefit of the doubt as a group to put our best foot forward and figure things out on our own.

And knowing that it has to come from the players at a certain point, but putting us in positions to succeed.

Yeah, that's funny, right?

And the same goes for just hard hit balls in the air to the middle of the field, too.

There's just the center.

Basically, you have to... Outfitters play so deep now.

You have to land it or have to hit it off the wall or go over the fence to get extra base hits sometimes, it feels like.

But yeah, it's funny because in all of our cage work and everything, everyone's working up the middle.

But if you look at spray charts and where extra base hits are, it's like you stay out of the middle.

It's line to line unless you have crazy power.

Yeah.

So we have one common phrase that I say a lot is slug to the line, which came from Anthony Iaposi, who is our old hitting coach here and absolute all-time guy to be around.

So we always joke about that.

You know, you practice up the middle and backspin and then just topspin the heck out of something in the game and be happy with your results.

Yeah.

I mean, there's a lot of plays that we're making now in the big leagues that we never made growing up or in college or in the minor leagues because of positioning and things like that.
