And then in the middle of the night, like at about 12 or so, my dad said to me, get out.

And, you know, I'm not sure why until today, but he asked me to leave that house.

Yeah, so I had no choice really but to leave, and I had nowhere to go.

And I just remember, you know, it was the middle of the night.

I remember it being cold.

And I remember kind of standing on the footpath next to the letterbox out the front of my parents' house, just holding my baby girl and crying my eyes out and just going, I don't know what to do.

I don't know where to go.

And I just started calling different friends and just, you know, it was the middle of the night.

So most of my friends were in bed asleep.

They weren't answering the phone.

And, you know, we didn't... Like, I had a small bag of things and I had her.

That was the most important.

And then one friend who used to work shifts, actually, answered the phone and I just...

broke down and just said, like, this is what's happened.

And I was still really ashamed of telling anyone.
