He started screaming at me like, you've called the police and started like he had one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand was punching me in the head and I just remember my head hitting the glass on the side of the car.
But he wouldn't stop the car while he was kind of doing it but probably only for a couple of minutes the police kind of cut him off and took me out of the car and then arrested him.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, it was a horrible day.
That is a nightmare.
Yeah, it was an awful day.
But after that I didn't go back.
Yeah, it took us a while to find her because he wouldn't tell the police and he was playing around.
But eventually we found her at a friend of his place and she was safe and...
Thank God she was okay.
I just remember crying, to be honest.

holding her so tightly and wanting to kind of touch every part of her like wanting to check that she was okay and all her little toes are there and all her little fingers and just wanting to physically see every inch of her to check she was okay and then just
holding her so tightly and never wanting to let go um because we know from statistics and the awful stories that we hear about every single week yeah how this story could have gone yeah absolutely so yeah I think from there I was like
really cognizant that I I felt I felt lucky to have her I felt like I had a second chance and I I just remember you know that night like looking into her little eyes and and just promising her I'd never go back yeah
