Yeah, so let's define what is a belief, first of all.
So a belief is not a fact.
A fact is an objective truth.
It is something that is true whether or not you believe in it.
The world is more like a sphere than it is flat.
Sorry, flat earthers, that's a fact.
It doesn't care what you believe.
On the other end of the spectrum is faith.
Faith is a conviction that does not require evidence.
God rewards the righteous.
There is no amount of evidence that I could present to somebody who has that faith, that could

It's a matter of faith.
But between fact and faith is something very special, which we call a belief.
A belief is a conviction that is open to revision based on new evidence.
So unlike faith, which almost never changes, unlike facts, which you cannot change, a belief is malleable.
Beliefs are tools, not truths.
