So I don't know.

I don't know what I'm doing.

And so she said, Well, let's see if we can sell it for real.

And so that's when she ran the process and we sold it to a random house.

So always looking for the problem that I have.

So I have endless books to write because I've got endless problems.

There's always something to fix.

And typically, when I have a question in my mind that I'm struggling with, a problem in my life, I read everybody else's book on the topic.

I'll talk to my wife, I'll talk to friends, I'll talk to anybody I can to get their opinion.

And nine times out of ten, somebody's somebody gives me good advice, or I read a book that gives me good advice, and that's it.

But every once in a while, maybe like every five or six

Years, I have a problem that I read people's books about and they don't solve the problem.

Or the book doesn't exist.

So with Hooked, there was no book on how to build habit forming products.

It didn't exist.

There were books about how to change personal habits, but not about habit forming product design.

And so that's what I wanted to understand.
