And also other little rules, you know, I don't encourage anyone who's on that journey to make visits to pubs and sit at the bar counter and have zero alcohol beers because somehow or other you're confusing your own journey and your sobriety and somehow or other you're kind of still a bit of a dry drunk

Absolutely.

And when I go to a party to this day or a wedding, my family always know Noel will do the Irish exit.

100%.

And I'll tell you, more importantly, it's if you overstay what I call that danger time, the crack is good.

the singing has begun the music's at full pelt everybody's in this jolly mood and all of a sudden it's like we do when we're drinking we we look to those who are our drinking partners who afterwards will say asher he's lost all the crack he's not drinking anymore

And they become the mirror of the person that we can deal with, that fun person.

Whereas in the cold light of day, you look in the mirror and you see the drunk, the person who's not a nice person.

So you have to be careful not to get into that atmosphere.

atmosphere, that party mood, that joy, that fun, and reach for that one drink that you think, oh, sure, one will do me no harm.

And there's hundreds of people around you at a wedding or at a function who are saying, ah, Noel, sure, one glass of wine is not going to do you any harm.

You used to love a glass of red wine.

But no, you have to have your own little survival.

I think we're the most fabulous group of young people.

I am hopeful that the generation of teenagers that I encounter, that that positivity toward better living, better health, you know, avoiding addiction, avoiding drugs, avoiding alcohol, we only hear the negative stories.

However, to go back to a comment you made there, I have no truck with this kind of idea that we're doing zero alcohol beer or wine or whatever.

We will do a promotion on it because that can be misleading as well.

And, you know, imbibing and getting into that culture can lead to other things, I so firmly believe.

You know, in recovery, you're better saying no, right?
