It was really hard going.
She had it tough.
And you know, uh it you just show again, she said as well how valuable Dublin Ray Crisis Centre was to her and the services, how sexual assault treatment unit really
Really did make a huge difference to her all of these kind of things.
But taking on a civil case, you don't even have the privacy that you get in a criminal case, and taking it on against one of the richest people that you you know of, uh and one of the richest people in the world, probably, those are huge things to do.
So huge bravery to her.
But it it also just goes to show that there is still um and and you hear it all the time.
Time.
There is still that failure to understand that really, without full proper consent, people should not be engaging in sexual activity.
And we still have a long way to go.
And we really must ensure that we keep up the efforts to hold those who carry out these assaults to account.
She should not have had to go through the judicial process as well as the assault, but she did.
and such you know, so with such determination, um and and she's great.

The law is mainly around poisoning right now.
To be clear, there is no innocent explanation that I've ever come across for spiking drink.
It is done for a malicious purpose, maybe just for entertainment, maybe for sexual assault.
maybe to steal from somebody, but there are no innocent explanations for it.
Trouble with it is that while there is law there, because what you're doing is attempting to poison someone, attempting to harm them in some ways, or attempting to facilitate a further crime.
So all of those are criminal offences in the law as it stands.
