The data grid one that's got consent down in Southland, it will actually employ more construction people over a 10-year period than the city rail link in Auckland.
So that was a huge project for New Zealand.
That's around about 10,000 people over a 10-year period with construction jobs.
Once it's built, it'll have about 200 to 220 people on site full-time.
So it's not a bad...

We've got a really good national grid infrastructure.
We've actually got
To put it into perspective, we use about 50 gigawatt hours of energy in New Zealand.
There's 44 gigawatt hours of energy in the pipeline to be built, but we just haven't had the business case to build it.
So we've got the energies available.
We just haven't had anyone willing to come in and pay for extra energy.
So if we do this in a planned way, a little bit like how when TY Point was built, they built Manapouri Dam at the same time.
We don't need to build dams this time because we've got enough geothermal and hydro energy
what these new data centres can be set to do is pay for in advance a renewable energy to top up our needs and build more energy for our country.
So if we do it in a planned way, which is what I think is the most important thing here, with the electricity sector, the data centres, if S&Z is going to attract them, if they attract one and we start to build it just one-on-one versus actually in a planned national way,
It might be a bit damaging, but if we do this in a way where we go, actually, here's a good spot to put it, it's got a good connection to the world, it's got great power resources already, so we're not going to create the Katoomba issue or any of the issues we read about in America.
We can do that because we can move in a coordinated way in this little country we have.
That's what we currently have, and that load is 56 of them, and they use 0.6% of the grid.
