Yeah.
So when the Supreme Court court ruled against tariffs um earlier this year, we were still quite skeptical that those refunds would actually go out.
Uh all these complexity.
But there that's actually happening.
So it started on May eleventh, uh so about two and a half months ago.
And so far about a hundred billion dollars of refunds have been issued back to the companies.
It's not nothing.
I mean it's about point three percent of GDP.
So that itself, if if it gets used, um, it's going to going to boost GDP as well.
The more important part is that this is essentially cash injection to consumer companies.
And we estimate about so consumer companies are going to see the biggest benefits of this because they paid the most amount and they were the biggest importers.
So we estimate that tariff refunds themselves could potentially boost
Staples companies' earnings in Q two by about thirty four percent.
So it's gonna be very, very significant.
They're not, unfortunately.
Okay.
Um it's really the importers who pay those tariffs who are getting the the the refunds.
If you listen to what companies are saying about the tariff refunds and how they're going to use it, there are some companies that talked about how they're going to lower prices now that they're actually getting the the refunds back.
I doubt that that's gonna be a broad based uh movement.
I think a lot of companies are going to really yeah, there could be one or two companies that lower prices, but I think mostly companies are going to use that to reinvest in their business, meaning CapEx.
