I think they'll bring more from the top.

And I think they're going to ask these referees, that group,

to run the TMO booth as well.

They won't particularly like it, but they have the experience on the pitch to do it.

But they don't have experience of being involved in the technical aspects of it.

So going back to the gold standard, they should therefore have an independent TV director with them.

And if somebody's not showing something, he should have the authority with the guy to

to make sure it's asked and it's put up.

Because it's got to be equitable across all the matches.

But if you go back to 2019, when the high tackle thing was brought in first, and brought in very late, Alain Roland was in charge of the referees for that World Cup.

And he went around all the unions and all the coaches and explained exactly what was going to happen in terms of high tackles.

But it was too late.

People couldn't change with a click of their fingers how they were tackling.

So we had all these sort of, oh, God, is that a red card?

Isn't it a red card?

And it really, you know, to a large extent, it spoils the tournament.

because they went in too late with it.

I think they could probably go with the GMO being one of the referee panels for the World Cup.

I think that could be the way to go.
