Yeah, like, you know, Google, Amazon, they have significant businesses in the Middle East, selling advertising, selling cloud services, other business services.
But, you know, among those customers that, you know, maybe you think less of are the US military while it's operating abroad.
not to sound crass, but part of the interest has been in the deep pockets, right?
The Gulf has a tremendous amount of wealth from the oil money, and tech companies have been after that.
There's an opportunity to go there, raise funds, build more data centers around the world, build bigger AI models.
So it's often been looked at as a source of that cash.
But the Middle East certainly, and many of the Gulf states, have
very big desires to become AI hubs onto their own.
And they have wanted those technologies, they've wanted more chips, and they become bigger customers at the same time.
The subtext is pointing a finger at President Donald Trump and saying his AI policies are absolutely whack and we need to do something different.

And that comes off the heels of the Trump administration designating Anthropica supply chain risk.

And then the third one is just that California, if it uses a generative AI to put out AI into the world, it's going to put a watermark on it to let people know that it is AI generated.
Yes, the Trump administration is trying to preempt state laws.
