But his father had nine children, and so the family must have had a strong Christian background.

Very rare at that time.

But that was the root?

So I was born, I grew among politicians because he was senator, a lot of them, among businessmen because of his industry.

So I grew, and most names that would be on the news or in the papers were in our house, like the Secretary of State and all those other guys, the Attorney General, government officials, presidents, ambassadors.

That's amazing.

All this diplomacy.

Yes, yes.

I mean, the British High Commissioner will be in our home forever.

and the American ambassador, Indian high commissioner, United Nations, all these other guys.

So I grew up out of that.

And well, it was my pathway.

So literally speaking,

I was being schooled towards playing tennis, being among those kinds of people around their world.

So their children became our friends.

So it was a strong network coming up until one day I met Jesus.

I met Jesus.
