Now, Alcaraz is a different beast altogether.
He's just a freak.
You know, he can play on mud.
He can play on cow dung, which they play on in India.
But, you know, a lot of this a lot of the Spanish players now.
You know, yes, they play a lot on clay, but they also play a lot on hard court.
But here's the key.
None of these players, particularly the Europeans, play on grass at all until they come and play at Wimbledon.
So a lot of the best young juniors on the planet, the first time they ever see a grass court is when they play junior Wimbledon as a 17 or 18 year old.
I would slightly disagree with what you just said, Chuck, in this way.
Wimbledon does what's best for Wimbledon, not for tennis.
And what I mean by that is what my initial comment about Wimbledon was, they follow what the other tournaments do, and they usually don't make a move until they've sussed out how that worked out, when there's electronic line calling system, whether it's the instant replay, whatever it is.
And the reason that they made the change on the surface was because it was bad for Wimbledon.
you know, that, you know, four of the top 10 players, I'm making up the number, but something like that.
We're not playing because of the surface.
So yeah, when they, they, they take a while, but they don't really get that involved in what's going on on the rest of the tour.
You know, they, they have a little bit of like, you know, we're Wimbledon, we're the all England club.
Well, we'll do it our way.
And, um, as I said, they, they usually come around, but it usually takes them a while.
They want to see how it, how it goes.
