I just said I was a plumber.
I had an accident with my ACL.
I would go there during the day, come back.
But that was fine.
They used to test you.
Do like a urine test every two, three days.
Everyone.
But what I did notice, because they'd have parties for people who were leaving rehab, like as in this well done, back out to the world, the families would come back in.
Their families would come and then it'd be like a celebration of them.
You'd pick a song, they'd play it and it was like, it was nice to sit here and eat cake.
But
And even, I hate even saying this out loud, I know I'm cheating myself, but I even went to the toilet into a bottle, put it into the fridge to keep it fresh just as a backup if I went back down there because I didn't want to jeopardize that.
And I arrived down there anyway and had to go, I wasn't tested, had to go away I think.
My ex-wife, wife at the time, came in and it was just a very formal situation.
She was there to be there, it was no closeness at all.
It was like, it finished and off she went and I was out.
And as soon as I went out, I'd say I was over in the house, 20 minutes and I was out of the shop.
And then I went down to the shop and I got three bottles of wine and I had got my stuff from the house which involved like the majority of what mattered to me at that time was the TV and the PlayStation.
I didn't leave the room, I was sitting inside the room lying down watching the TV and just drinking, falling asleep, waking up, drinking, falling asleep.
And I felt terrified.
