I even knew it.

I was waking up and I was like, I'm going to die here if I stay here in this situation.

So I don't know where the decision came from.

I came from somewhere inside of me where I was like, I have to go.

I have to leave.

And I remember saying to her, and of course she was upset.

But I was in that mind frame like, you said to me that you were just someone in the picture.

What am I here for?

And I didn't even think about that at the time.

I just didn't feel strong in myself.

I couldn't even function outside of a room without drinking.

I couldn't go down the street.

Like,

the fact that I was on crutches and I was still getting paid like, cause New Zealand's good in that sense for being injured.

It was like, I'm, I was just, I was getting paid to do nothing.

I was there, but I wasn't there.

No one can go through that and not be there.

And I started my own business and I was trying to just, I was like, I'll get some plumbing, I'll do this and get the money together and all that kind of crap.

And then there was a big rigmarole of me, kind of, I went down to Glimby and I rented a house on there and I lasted there for like two days because I was just, I'd say the owner was like, what is this for that?
