I suppose I need to perform to be the best I possibly could.

And like that I wanted that, I wanted to be at that level.

But I just couldn't understand what was going on on the surface more than anything.

And even looking back on it,

It seems like a balancing game ever since then to where I ended up.

And if I could go back and tell myself, it'd be easy.

But I even remember at 17 and I brought myself to a counsellor and I was like, something's going on here.

I have no idea.

And that's 23 years ago in Clarny.

And there was this counsellor out at the back of the RS Padraig and it's up on top of this room.

And I'd say she was just newly qualified and I said,

And I started talking about it, I suppose, like everyone who goes to therapy for the first time started talking about their mother and that kind of a thing.

But I suppose I found myself in a loop and I came out of there and that kind of just, I suppose, didn't really fix itself in that stage.

And as I say, I qualified and Celtic Tiger started hitting again.

It was fine for a while and Work for Plumbers started and All Tradesmen started downing.

And I saw fellas who had qualified in my era as well, and they were kind of putting the tools to the side and trying to do something else around social welfare.

And I was like, I just didn't want, I didn't want to do that.

So the biggest thing for me was, oh, Australia, Australia would be great.

I'll head off to Australia.

And I was in a relationship as well at the time.
