And then I started getting dropped from teams and stuff like that because I wasn't showing up because I just, I had the fear, I suppose, inside of me.

I started my apprenticeship then plumbing when I was 17, as soon as I finished school.

And there was still always this draw for me.

I really wanted to play football.

Again, I just couldn't, I couldn't understand what was going on inside of me that I couldn't think about why can't I, why can't I compete at this level?

But that's from sitting here at this perspective of 40 years of age, looking back at 16, 17 years of age.

So then I suppose from that stage, I started smoking hash more.

I started heavily smoking hash and then that kind of relaxed me a small bit.

Kind of made me feel more normal around things and stuff like that.

But then hanging around with the wrong groups and stuff like that.

And before I knew it, then I was a qualified plumber and still doing the same things.
