And I showed that to my therapist.

And she started crying.

And she was like, this is what I've been talking about since the moment I saw you.

With your voice being trapped.

This is you speaking without restraint or any of that within you.

This is your natural self.

And there's, of course, there's elements of ego and all that kind of crap within it.

But it's still 100% you just being honest and coming to terms with your shame and accepting yourself.

Well, I want to shout it out because I've lived a fairly long life for someone who's 40.

Like, even things that don't even touch the surface of it is like being over in Christchurch after your quakes.

Like all these things were just glancing off me.

They weren't really, it's like, oh my God, that was lucky, wasn't it?

I wasn't there around that time.

But there were massive things that were happening around me, but I was still just in this daze of trying to balance what was going on within myself.

Because I know with these things that happen, there's repercussions.

That's why I say, like I said, I know that people will hold on to stuff for a long time when they feel it after something like that.

there's difficulties like as in it's like I know like my obviously my brother and his wife and all that would have met my ex-wife at the time and they would have connected through social media and all that and they'd all still be connected through social media whereas I'm not they'd see more than I do and that's what's difficult

I get a video, I got one there a couple of weeks ago and you see him and he's trying to talk into the camera and he's like, you could see the nerves and stuff like that and me being me, I'm like, oh my God, I don't want that, he doesn't have to do that, he doesn't have to do that.
