Uh because they had a corporate club.

So some corporations will have Toastmaster clubs.

And that's when I first got introduced to it and I was able to s like start learning a lot more about the presentation and it what's also led me to this this show, the the live streaming.

I would have done it if without if it wasn't without a Toastmasters.

And one of the reasons why I also did Toastmasters was because

I was um I'm a previous employer that I that I left before work day.

I was denied a promotion because of the way I spoke.

Like I wasn't clear enough.

I had the ums, ahs, you knows, so's.

I was all over the place.

I wasn't organized, I wasn't sharp, I wasn't and I was held against me.

I said, hey, you know, we're gonna give this to this because they could this person because they can speak to leadership, you know, speak to leadership.

I'm like, what, I can't speak to leadership?

So so but I under I under I mean again that may have been my ego at the time, but then I learned, right?

So but

So like I learned like, you know what, I'm gonna make myself better and do Toastmasters, which um I owe a lot to the beginning of my public speaking career.

Especially I I know introverts can be it can be really scary at conferences, which you know, even even even to this day, like if I would go to a conference without a purpose, it would kind of you know it would kinda be hard for me to meet people.
